Tomorrow marks the last day of mixing! We´ve finished 14 songs and are both exhausted and happy. Cant wait to let you hear it. A first single is scheduled for march and the album will be released in april.
Two days ago we also started a facebook-page. Please join us there – we´re posting live clips from the mixing so you can get teasers of whats to come!
Now we have one and a half week of intense listening ahead of us, trying to decide which song will make it to the album before we finalize the master.

Today Khomas signing with Selective Notes and Razzia Records was made public. Selected notes was founded by Anders Friden of In Flames and Daniel Tivemark. From today the label has also become a part of Razzia Records.

The record labels pressrelease reads:

The recording has gone in to the last phase – mixing. It feels great to finally put all the pieces together and hear what we´ve been working on in full force. This morning we finished the mix of the first song – by the gallow. The lyrics was written long before the disaster in Haiti, but feels even more relevant in the light of all thats happened in the last days. Its about people turning away from those in need – like we cant see or hear whats actually going on, when we should really be there for each other.
We´re planning to mix around 15 songs, not all of them will make it to the album. Hopefully we can post teasers here soon.

When asked to summarize the decades best and most important songs Khomas “Ones of us must hang” made it into two out of six reviewers lists at Aftonbladet – 1:st and 10:th place. Read the article “Mission impossible: Ten years – in ten songs” by following the link (In Swedish).

Khoma will play “Peace and Love” in Borlänge on the 2 of July.
We had a great time there three years ago and are really looking forward to come back.

Sorry for not posting anything the last week. We´ve been working day and night in the studio, recording guitars and pianos. It´s been great, but hectic. Finally things are actually coming together and we´re getting a grasp on where all of this might be heading. Still theres alot to do. We´re working on almost 20 songs and are still unclear about which ones are gonna make it to the album.
Hopefully we can post some pictures and videos later this week to give you a sense of what we´ve been up to. We also want to send a big thanks to Mattias Eklund and the people at Luthman for their continued support, helping us with the gear and tips we´ve needed to continue working! The recording still moves on with a little help from our friends…!

We´ve gotten e-mails about how to order t-shirt from the Store-part of this page. Sorry for not finishing it. The old -thirts in the store are only for display at the moment, but we´ll fix this as soon as the recording is done. Then well post some new designs as well!

After a couple of weeks of recording at Tonteknik studios we needed a calm place to write and further develop our new ideas. So If you wondered why it´s been quiet the last week we´ve finished a work long in progress – a small recording studio. This weekend it was done and we´ve spent the last three days trying out vocal ideas and pianos. Think were gonna call it “I get by with a little help from my friends studios” – cause that’s what the project has been all about. Truly inspired by Krapotkins old slogan of Mutual aid. A big thanks to everyone who has contributed – Fredrik Jonsson for helping us in our effort to build it, Mattias Eklund at Toontrack for software and tips, Karin Augustsson for putting in hours of planning and working and our friends at AKG/Septon and Luthman for supplying us with great mics and preamps to work with. All of you have helped us realize the project and made it possible for us to be even more independent in our work. Now we have to get back recording! We´ll post some pictures and videos later.
